Hi can anyone help I have a 2011 cmax and a couple of days ago the radio stopped working all i get when I turn it on is the ford welcome screen, also this has meant no sound from phone and reverse sensors. From what I've seen I suspect with time there will be option for the SE models with the 4.2 screen and standard radio. I don't have high hopes for a replacement option for the MFT models. We have a Ford S-max 2010 titanium and switched on yesterday to find the radio and navigation unit wouldn't work either on the main display or on the drivers dash. I've checked in the manual and the only fuse related to this is the F6 15 amp audio system fuse on the central fuse box. I checked it and it seemed fine but bought a replacement Ford Year: 2014. UK/Ireland Location: Leicestershire. Posted March 9, 2018. Switch the radio on - there should be a mute option on the bottom right of the control screen (one of the four reprogrammable buttons). Press it to mute the radio, then switch on the Sat Nav which has its own Mute option. You remove them and you remove the cover of the radio. Then you see all the components. If you check VERY WELL (hard to see, better with a magnifying glass), there is four resistances side to side and the metal is crack. just re do the solder and all will be ok. For mines, both trucks had 2 cracks in the solders. Ford Sync 3 Radio Not Working. If your Ford Sync 3 radio is not working, there are a few things that you can do to try and fix the issue. First, check to see if the radio is properly plugged in. If it is, then check to see if the fuse has blown. To do this, simply remove the fuse from the fuse box and inspect it for any sign of damage. If your screen froze with the display on, hold the buttons down until the screen goes black. If the screen is black when the system froze, hold the button down until you see the Ford logo appear on the screen. Wait 3 minutes or so for the system to complete the reset.
